Alaska Airline's 75-th Anniv. Plane (PIC)!!

Somebody on the inside must have posted that to a.net because I can't find it anywhere on the employee site. Is that a real photo or the artist's rendition? The airgroup employees were presented with four different paint schemes for the 75th anniversary airplane. I think I read somewhere it's supposed to be rolled out toward the end of this month...

That's a good looking airplane. It's the old DC-3 paint seen here:

The cockpit looks empty. What happen to the top windows above the cockpit. I have noticed some of the new 738s dont have them anymore.

I think that's the artist's version of what it is going to look like.

The eyebrow windows are options now. Boeing is the Richmond Homes of the sky!

"Oh, you want door knobs? That's an upgrade. It'll cost'ya..."

They're planning on unveiling their new a/c and announcing the development of pilotless aircraft on the same day... you know, to soften the blow.

Gee, shiny polished-metal finish..... nobody's ever seen anything like that before :D (*coughAAcough*)

It's very pretty, but I agree that it doesn't look like a real photo. It would look gorgeous on the real thing.

Saw it landing in LAX the other day.

Nice to know the money they could be paying their employees is going towards such needed expenditures ...
