My only complaint about the 1900 is...If I wanted to be a flight attendant I wouldn't have spent 40Gs on flight school or a degree.
yah...all those guys flyin the corp jets around are suckers as well.

Ahhh, it is called PAYING YOUR DUES.
Good things in life do not come easy. Bust your hump, and you will be more appreciative of the long term results.
The 19-hondo is totally bad ass.
If it's good enough for Seggy, B767Driver and myself, it's A-ok.
I think 3 or 4 out of 10 in the last class got IAH. I know that there was a memo saying that we needed fo's in IAH,TYR, SYR, and I think ROC that came out last month. THat being said, it could change at any day. Houston is a big hub for us and probably holds 1/4 of our pilot group. IT's the only place where we don't have out station basing. It's also the place where everyone sees the expanision happening in the near future. If you don't get IAH out of training, you will be able to hold it no more than probably 3 months or so. Colganites, tell me if you disagree![]()
Hey, these are opinion boards, that is my opinion. Most out there agree.

Hey Colgan/Pinnacle guys....Since Pinnacle just bought Colgan, does that mean there will be a colgan base in Memphis and would it be a senior base or a junior new hire base? Or will they not even base colgan guys there since pinnacle is out of memphis? What are the junior colgan bases??
Im out of school in May and will be trying to launch applications a lot of places but didnt know anything about or heard of Colgan till I got here...Thanks for any help/advice

That's almost like "60% of the time, it works every time!"
If a pilot that is hell bent on NOT flying a 1900, even though it's got two wings, a couple engines and they pay you to fly it, sounds like another case of shiney plane syndrome!![]()
Start up a B1900 airline at SNA or let Great Lakes make some commutable lines and I would be all over it.
Purdue Pilot said:They turned me down with 1100/100, 2 months ago. I don't understand what they wanted because people with about 1/2 the time I had were getting interviews.
Not that I'm bitter or anything. I think it worked out because I'm in ATC school though.
I applied to Colgan a few months ago with 800/140 or so. I wonder why they never called me as well.
I'm pretty sure it worked out for me $$$-wise and QOL-wise though. Commutair did call, but they were too late as I was already in training.

Well congratulaions Mike I hear Commutair is a great place to be now-a-days. Your sure to get your time quickly there, I had a friend who used to fly the beech their then he said he wanted to fly an RJ. Now he misses Commutair alot, said he wishes he'd stayed there to upgrade.
Anyway Congrats again man, Commutair will take care of you, fly safe.
Happy skies,
