Dear Colgan MGT,

Pay your 2nd year FOs more and you'll have more people stay and happier employees. Not to mention you'll save alot of money on training new FOs.

its 21 and hour, get it right, lol. 60 FO's will hardly take care of attrition. Let me guess, they will have to stop upgrades for 3 months becuase they won't have the sim time for upgrades. Maybe they plan on some other expansion in the future, or maybe they are beefing up the roster because they know the union is on the way and the days of the pt. 91 repo after 8 hrs of flying are over.

Get a union, get rid of the 1900, raise pay and I'm there.

Dingo, any chance of getting rid of the outstation basing?

Wouldn't you like to sleep in your own bed almost every night? Thats a QOL perk IMO.

Now they are getting closer to me, and I still don't have my s... together.

I'm actually from Upstate NY (So I could really make Ithaca or Binghamton work), but having a base in PIT/LGA/BOS and having actual trips is where you can make your per diem, which can REALLY help when you only make $21 and $22 per hour.

True dat. Particularly if you were lucky enough to happen to live near, say LGA and would then be making bank by saving on housing plus getting paid per diem.

I dunno man, I don't see all that attrition happening. Call me an optimist, but I think this may very well be the best time to be a Colganicleite.

Sim time should be a little easier to get as well now that we allegedly have one all to ourselves at the STL FlightSafety.

Website still says 100ME......interesting!

I have 300TT and 200ME....I'm actually sitting in a hotel in Hope, Arkansas...I'm driving to Skymates for their CFI program...Long, Long, Long Drive...1600 miles.

How you get so much ME, and in what aircraft? That's great!

I'm trying to wonder why you stopped in Hope, of all places,.

I got my Multi time from Ari-Ben Aviator but I couldn't stay there for my instructor ratings. There is so much about that school that people can't say. The Ari-Ben community lives in fear and it's more than obvious on jetCareers.

I stopped in Hope because it's the birthplace of Bill Clinton. (Kidding, that was almost enough to keep me away) I stopped in Hope because it was a place only 3.5 hours from Arlington...It had a AAA discount....Free Breakfast...and Free High Speed Wireless...Gotta have the HSI!

Disclaimer: My training at Ari-Ben was absolutely top-notch.

Stories for the IRL meetings!

Go ahead and admit it, you did stop in Hope because of Bill!
