CFI School in Vegas

ATP guys, is the 14 day CFI school for real? I have finally saved up the cash and want to do it in Vegas. Any thoughts would be great.

I did the Vegas program. It's fine, I sure hope you have a coupla hundred hours or so of experience before you go. They'll send you a box of stuff, do what they tell you, fill out the entire guide they send you before you go (it's required) and memorize the Seminole gouge.

Before I went I read all this stuff about it being super hard. If you had a recent checkride (maybe your commercial) it's not hard, just know what you should know already. Otherwise, it's fun. It was 110 degrees when I was there so we generally flew like 5AM when it was down to 104.
