Flown all over... don't do it anymore.

I it's cost effective for you, try it again. It makes you a much better pilot.
So does tail wheel training and aerobatic training.

Going glider and tail wheel takes you from ok, to really good-excellent pilot.

They just make everything better.

There is a place about 45 minutes from my house in TN that does glider instruction. The few times I've been by there no one is ever there. But I've always wanted to try it and see if I like it.

They'll likely make an effort to meet you there.

A lot of glider folks went to different hobbies like remote control and UAV's

But some are still active.
