Given the state of United these days, I'm kinda hoping UA loses all their own routes.I've been hearing for more than a decade that Mesa was at death's door. I don't buy it.
They're pretty tight with UA, so it'll be interesting to see how they deal with this.
Maybe that was just people wishing, cus at ExpressJet and Compass the writing was definitely on the wall years prior.I've been hearing for more than a decade that Mesa was at death's door. I don't buy it.
In the end this is basically UA and AA swapping Mesa/AirWis.
Also, I'm seeing lots of posts about this on other sites as well.
Am I nuts or wasn't this announced more than six weeks ago - that Mesa was going to be focusing on UA flying anyway and the AA stuff was going away? I swear we were aware of this a while ago.
Mesa.
'nough said.

¿Qué? No entiendo.Given the state of United these days, I'm kinda hoping UA loses all their own routes.
More like AAL, nuff said.
Yea Mesa is a cockroach-infested crap hole bottom feeder of a regional, but let's not forget what an absolute dumpster fire of an operation AAL is. They are in serious financial trouble, they are in serious debt and I seriously think that they literally can't afford Mesa...
what’s weird about their efb policy?See, I keep hearing these things about Mesa, but always second-hand. The first-hand stuff I get from people currently working there are that despite the training department being a little disorganized, it's a good place to work with great people. And while their EFB policy is a little weird to me, I get why even that exists. And now that they pay a lot more than they did, it's really hard for me to wrap my head around what you're saying above.
Maybe it's just the work rules and stuff? I don't know. I work for what many would consider a bottom-feeder but I kinda like this bottom-feeder, absent any other experience. <shrug>
Huh?
I don’t know what “losing our own routes” means.Yeah, I actually have seen a lot of improvement in UA over the past year.
AAL is in serious debt, but they aren’t in serious financial trouble. They’re cash flowing and have plenty of liquidity.More like AAL, nuff said.
