Cape Air - Provincetown accident

Which further proves his point. Barrios Tacos is the only redeeming quality of Ohio.
I'll give them another chance since I've only done them over Uber Eats since it was either too cold or covid-y when I was there, but I was pretty underwhelmed both times I tried it.

And the USAF Museum.

I don't know if it's the lack of sun, or something in the water, but the first thing I noticed when I moved there in 2002 was that there were a stunningly large proportion of guys in their late teens and 20s who were seriously balding.

I've seen more than one FOQA recreation of a flight where the crew went missed, called the go-around, hit TOGA, brought the flaps up, and never actually pitched up to climb.
It's pretty amazing how spectacular of a crap show a routine go around can become out on the line when nobody's done it in a while. IMO one of the things that could probably stand to actually get briefed more thoroughly than it does and moreso than some of the other minutiae that gets briefed ad nauseum.

I could see it being not very good as delivery food.

Hahaha. Must be something in the water.

I've noticed the same thing with Vegas, I usually end up doing a lot of delivery because I don't have a car and it's a bajillion degrees so walking to Chili's is kind of not worth it, but almost without fail every single restaurant I've had delivered has been terrible, with the exception of this pretty good Vietnamese place I got.

Try Aloha Kitchen. It's my go to delivery place there.

You’re not wrong….I think in the last four years I have had to do roughly 4 real world Go-Arounds from a balked approach or similar. 3 for significant wind-shear below 500 feet, 1 for a CRJ that got hung up looking for his “high speed”….every-time, I can feel a palpable increase in stress levels, especially for something that is supposedly engrained in each of us to be a non event.

Yup, I really wish more places would spend time in training on go arounds besides the "published missed, hit the TOGAs at minimums" types. It sets people up for trouble when you get one that has a minimal or even no climb when "lighting the rockets" is exactly what you DON'T want to do, and I've seen those are honestly way more common in the real world.

Yep. Intermediate go arounds are the worst.

Yep. Those standard briefs are all good and well, but very rarely do they fit the actual scenario…out of those 4 i can recall, none were at minimums (occuring well below, and on primarily visual approaches)….nice quick briefs quickly turn into “Well crap! go around go around: toga, power, pitch, flaps-gear-flaps”
Just got picked up to do training stuff so I plan to place a bit more emphasis on go-arounds, not just missed approaches.

After a couple of not so great go arounds at my shop, they’ve really hit go arounds hard the last few training cycles.

Also, we are trained for “discontinued approaches” if above 1,000’ AGL. It works really well, and it’s not uncommon for a lot of guys to now brief a go around at least once per trip.
