You're about 1 minute from the border of Lithuania (judging by the circumference of the standard rate turn), and like 50NM from Vilnius (just eyeballing it on Skyvector), likely just about to reach up to the mode control panel to dial in the descent. He says you need to go to Minsk which is 100NM away.

Definitely important to have an idea of what is going on around the world when flying internationally. There are definitely a few places where pretty much only a cargo fire would make me want to land there.

"Mean old" Lithuania sits between Belarus and Kaliningrad, and Pootie-Pie would just love to not have to deal with the current borders to have land access to the enclave. In addition to being members of ICAO and the EU, Lithuania is also part of NATO.
