My wife’s home town, Safronbolu. About 2 hours north of Ankara. It’s a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Kinda pissed the NY DOT can’t make a road last a year and half the roads here were made by the Romans.

I was hanging out at the home airport waiting for a call that never came. Finished my RAP, and decided to go for a hop around the area. Ended up flying 3 hours, and chasing my buddies (who were) in a Blackhawk.

Yeah it was jetbridge A/C that went 0-100 once turned on. The hose was readjusted after being turned off, jetbridge company was called out to fix whatever the hell they fixed, but maintenance didn't find anything worth logging or noting when they visited.

It's a concept I never thought about. When I looked in to it I found this..The Panama canal. The toll for commercial ships is $150k-$200k (cash); it takes around 8 hours.
With the opening of the Panama Canal expansion in June, it was to be expected that the waterway would shatter all sorts of cargo volume records, but with the canal’s added capacity one figure in particular stands out: $829,468.
That’s the staggering toll a container ship previously too big to use the Panama Canal just paid to pass through it.

While Halliburton was neither the first nor the fastest swimmer to accomplish the feat, he was the first to travel through all three sets of locks. Charges for the passage were made in accordance with the ton rate, and Halliburton, weighing 150 pounds, paid just 36 cents.”
