Search for Permanent FAA Chief Seemingly on Hold

The search for a permanent FAA Administrator has been put on the back burner. Trump suggested his personal pilot, John Dunkin, which was coolly received by congress and didn't go anywhere. Soon after Trump nominated his personal physician to head the Dept. of Veteran's Affairs, and that ended disastrously.

So now industry groups are lobbying for Robert Sturgell, DOT chief Elaine Chao is pushing for Daniel Elwell, and nothing's happening.
