I woke up to news that I had a feeling was coming. I didn't know it would happen this way, but it did. The airplane is being sold and I will no longer be employed. 7 years, 6 months for the same bosses. I've had some ups and downs with them, and thought I was losing my job at other times. It is now official.

This is an amicable breakup, and I'm happy to be moving on. I already have some stuff in the pipeline, and I'll make an announcement at the appropriate time.

For those that think this job is easy, especially on the contract pilot side of things, there are never any guarantees. It's been a heck of a ride, and I look forward to the next step!

I've enjoyed reading your experiences over the years. I'm sorry that the job is coming to an end but this is probably the best thing that could happen all things considered. Best of luck and cannot wait for your announcement.

Still no sanctions for the boss. He's shifting business partners, and other things I'm not going to go into, but it is truly "the airplane is getting sold off" situation.

Best of Luck, Joe. I know you'll land with both feet on the ground. Always enjoyed following your path. Straight up class all the way around. Anyone would be lucky to have you.
