Are they separate and distinct lines at AA? (that is, are Long Call and Short Call a full-month thing, or...?)

I'd assume you'd also have some sort of minimum guaranteed ability to do so, whereas for us that's largely a pipe dream.
 
with a grain of salt, but USA Today says that it's almost solved with a lot of trips being picked up for the 150%

I do. But I just don’t like the idea of not having a say in where I go or a real idea of when that is. As it is now I have a lot of control of that and mainly work 1 and 2 day trips with no more than 2 legs. But I get the alure of short call, but just not for me.
 
I was toying with bidding for a line next month but since I live in base I bid short call. It's gonna be a busy month.

I honestly don’t know what it will take for guys to pick stuff up. People straight dropped these trips without pay to begin with to get Christmas off so I don’t see the masses picking stuff up for 300% or whatever. I know I’m not picking anything up and I’m usually a total credit ho.

I hear ya. I’m in DFW international and even though I’m 50% in category I’m 100% lineholder. So short call is usually better for me except during summer. But if I could hold turns I would probably do that like you are.

exactly, cant put a price on spending christmas with your family.
