Holy moly, just looked it up. How do they even keep butts in the seat at those rates when everyone else is hiring???The pay sucks.

If this is so well known how do they continue to get flying from mainline partners? I'm assuming it has to do with pricing/money. Or is regional feed too hard to come by to be picky nowadays?Mesa offers (or at least used to) no interview class dates. Just call them, tell that that you meet ATP (or RATP) minimums and they give you a class date.
Mesa gets lots of washouts from other regionals, flawed backrgound's (multiple DWI's, other felonies), or other people that can't get hired elsewhere. It is the "halfway house" of the airline world.
I heard of a guy going there because he didn't feel like going through an actual interview somewhere else (they hire over the phone after some 20 min phone thing)....I think he had a rich dad or something.Holy moly, just looked it up. Ugh...Mesas top out FO pay (which takes 8 years) is less than first year starting pay at a lot of other regionals...
Because their contracts are dirt cheapIf this is so well known how do they continue to get flying from mainline partners? I'm assuming it has to do with pricing/money. Or is regional feed too hard to come by to be picky nowadays?

I also heard they don't get their iPad's fully paid for, just $500 towards them. What a hole.Wait, they don't pay for KCM? What kind of sorcery is this? Can the pilots pay for it themselves?
The CA was probably just hungry and NEEDED the $10K giving what Mesa pays...Apparently their referral bonus is $10,000. Find a few suckers every year and you can make more from bonuses than flying.
During new hire training at my current regional, we had a guy jumpseat on Mesa over the weekend a couple of times to visit home. He said the CA pushed hard to recruit him every time.
I'm curious to how you can try to recruit another 121 pilot to come to Mesa? Like everyone else doesn't know about your company?Apparently their referral bonus is $10,000. Find a few suckers every year and you can make more from bonuses than flying.

Just become an instructor and take 1 year to build your time. These are scams. You're putting your QOL in the dump for multiple years. Plus, you're in the king land of instructing. You could get the best QOL, money, and hours out there.
