Aviation New Year's Resolutions

What are some of your aspirations and hopes for this indescribably awesome new year?

More flight time? Moving onto greener pastures?

For me it's more GA flying.... Possibly getting my MEI. We shall see!

Un-restrict my ATP, build enough 121 hours to upgrade, save at least half the money I need for a plane.

Bonus: not have nervous breakdown from commuting to LGA.

CFI, CFII, SES, Tailwheel Endorsement, get started on building my Bearhawk, and buy a plane, like a Taylorcraft F-19, Super Cub, etc that I could put on wheels, skis, or floats so I can start building SES time.
MEI would be the icing on the cake too, but we'll see...probably do MEI and MES in 2018.

I always had Aviation related New Years Resolutions. First it was to get my private, then other ratings, then to get 1500 hours, tailwheel, then Multi time, then 1000 TPIC then 5000 hours, then 10,000 hours etc.

It always came, and I wanted more. And to be fair, any of these goals will come pretty easily for someone who has a passion with Aviation.

This year, my resolution is to not have any aviation related resolutions, but instead to be a good husband, and father, and friend to my friends. And a few other personal resolutions such as paying off my house this year.

mshunter has a good idea, however with me being the Chief Pilot, that is a bit hard to do! Im always in his office!

Stay out of the news, and upgrade. Even though I'll be a little nervous when upgrade rolls around I feel competent. Thankfully there's a lot of senior guys to learn from whether it's learning what to do or what not to do. I'm also one class from finishing my bachelors. It was kind of a pain flying my butt off and doing a degree at the same time and lord knows by GPA could've been higher but it feels great to almost be done.
