Well darn - was on vacation though. Flowing through DTW again today with a 3hr airport appreciation period.

Anyone gonna be around?

Shut yower pie hole, wookiee. UAL have a drug testing program?

One can't get a HUGE NY Deli Boars Head Italian Sandwich with a drink and chips for $8.99 in Atlanta can you?

Are YOU ready to pee in a cup?

Lemme douse your flame a bit.

I don't think any Southernjetter truly sees ATL as the "crown jewel" of awesomeness, unless you're in the Peachtree City crowd.

It's like me saying "Houston? You live in Houston? YOWER BANDMINTON TEAM BLOWS!"

Ok. Uhhh… Yehhh… Mmmmmm…. alright.

But you can go to the Boars Head Deli on A concourse and get pretty much that same meal. There's more to ATL than just the 3 or 4 gates United uses.

Yes, I know there is more to ATL than the T gates or wherever we park.

Even with that, give me the New York Controllers, Airports, and attitude over Atlanta every day.

Am I supposed to say, "Oh no you di'int GURRRRRL" or can I just go ahead and say, "noted!" because of my indifference and lack of comparative jingoism on the topic? :)

If it's entertaining for the crowd, I could whoop it up a little, even though, from the bottom of my heart, I'd rather watch Dinosaur Train… which is the bad-assiest cartoon on Earth.

And alot better than IAH. Taxi WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWDWDWEWEWWWWWTWTS Contact Ramp, Contact clearence, taxi WDEWREEWWWWWW contact Ramp, Contact tower. Level at 4,000 for 50 miles.

What an idiotic facility.

Let's grow the list while we're on the IAH thread hijack:

- Ready to taxi and very near the runway and nobody in line for it, while listening to clearance delivery at a ramp exit spot, who is in the middle of reading a full route clearance for a Citation on the other side of the airport.

- "Pull into the runup pad."
How about...no.

- Just like the 4,000 level off for several minutes on departure, 2,000 feet 25 miles out on the way in, through the thermals and flocks of birds.

- It is deplorable that they have claimed the fix SUSHI when obviously it should be located elsewhere, such as the SF bay area, or anywhere over or near the country of Japan.

This with a Caribou Coffee is my go to DTW airport appreciation meal. Works every time!

Caribou brought back their "single source coffee", so despite the fact that I'm in the middle of a Skynet-like machine revolution at home, I'm in a pretty good mood.

You trying to start some "Airlime Hub Beef," like East Coast/ West Coast?

I've flown to airports all over the world. All airports suck. Some are really, really nice, some resemble the Devil's taint. It's not like a person picks an airline to work for based on the Fung Swai of their hubs. Or actually lives in an airport

And since when are airports judged on Deli meat selection?
Spot on, spot on.
