Simple black Southernjets lanyard here but will be wearing the orange ALPA one when I receive it.

I did the clip thing but after having it fall off a few times the fear of losing it on the ramp in MIA only to later learn of its absence while checking in for my commute home flight from ATL converted me.

While I do acknowledge the PAC's significance, I tend to feel that if I saved every dollar that I would have given to the PAC, I would net a greater amount of personal financial benefit.

Heck, even ships with steam plants, isn't it difficult finding BTs and MMs with the training to safely operate those?

My company does high/low pressure steam systems and I would give my left arm for a "real" navy BT but they seem to be impossible to find. Can't even poach guys out of the shipyards. It's a dying trade.
 
During hockey season it's an Officially Licensed NHL Merchandise Chicago Blackhawks lanyard.

All other periods of time it is the basic ALPA retractable ID holder.
