PSA feel good story

No because I am a big boy and will seperate as needed/organize the paperwork together. If we have to divert we look for the paperwork that we have already reviewed, no need to rush/freak out. You're being dramatic.

If you're okay with your flight plan, fuel, weather, and notams alternating every other line and scattered throughout pages that's fine by me. No pilot should look at his release and see metar on the first line and notams the next sentence and back to metar. But if you can rip line by line and piece then in order. Good for you, you make TSH happy.

TLR goes there, happy chat goes to the FA or sits on the pedestal, station ops copy to the Captain, etc.

Last post but you convienently have started to over exaggerate the situation with each post. 1st it was just the long ream of paper you had to unroll, hence the need for your laser printing, then it shifted to scattered info, now everything is alternating line by line. Next the release will be in spanish.

At what point do you give up and have dispatch send it to you on ACARS?

I'd much prefer the ribbon release over the laser printer one. It's a pain in the ass to have to stick papers together like you do with the laser printer kind

Nope. Second and third post are the same. If you read it again I stated the release information was scattered. Which I keep telling you that the weather, flight plan, notam, and release cover was all on different pages. The reason I didn't post all of this on my first topic. I didn't expect a tree hugger to come out of the wood works.

Sorry for posting then. I value my future and trees along with bees help ensure that.

Why? You already have a release.
I was referring to the "it's in Spanish" comment.

We cut out the middlemen most everywhere and pull our own damn paperwork on our company's own laser printers, so it's largely moot. I think I've been handed a tractor-feed release maybe twice here at SKW.

And moreover, I don't really care. (I actually would prefer tractor-feed over yards and yards of ACARS paper.)

I'm sorry. I feel bad when we have 70 page release for a 30 minute flight. Then I throw it all away when we get to the gate :-( someday I dream we can have paperless releases.

This is why I carry a ton of highlighters. Highlight the stuff you need and in a pinch you can find it in 2 seconds.

Do what I do and walk up to the terminal and throw it in the recycle bin. Solved the problem of not being able to get out of the seat and also look for jumpseaters.

Hmmm never seen anybody do that before. I like that idea, never thought of doing that. Thanks!
