Then I hear us SE locals are going to be relegated to doing the milk run on the Q.. oh joy.Combis are supposed to be gone by the end of 2017 and 3 -700 are being converted to freighters.

Out of curiosity, is the pax cabin completely inaccessible from the flight deck in the combi and visa versa? Was wondering if an FA could get up there in the event of crew incapacitation.

I love riding up front on the combis. It is easy to stretch your legs if you want.There is an area in front of the cargo section that is essentially a galley and a lav. We are required to have a flight attendant occupy that forward galley area. Interestingly enough it goes fairly senior for FAs, mainly because they don't have much to do so some of them get projects done while there.
