Can someone please share some information on the interview process for Air America and any other experience with Air America.

Thank you

CFI or Aerial Photography? I went to riddle so I did some flying there and had a few friends that were working there as cfi's. PM me

Use the search function. There is a ton of up to date info. I had an interview with them last year but declined due to accepting another position. I didn't go to the interview but I did find plenty of info on this site.

I am interviewing on Monday. Excited and want to be prepare.

A phone or in person interview? Mike and the rest of the AA crew are pretty good people and there have been plenty of guys that got stumped or answered incorrectly on questions that I'd still say were really great pilots that still got the job. Just be yourself and don't stress out. They're just trying to make sure that they've got people they can trust on the road to get along with others, get the work done and not do stupid • when unsupervised.

Like they said, be yourself. You already passed since you have an FAA certificate. They are just going to check that you can fly and mainly see that your personality fits.
Hope to see you on the road!

I am interested in the debrief as well. I will be having a phone interview later this week. Pretty excited and nervous about it!

Guys just treat the interview like you would any other pilot interview. Have the totals ready and most importantly be yourself. It's an awesome company to work for so no need to brag yourself up and brag about the one flight you did over the rockies. Nobody cares how much of a hot shot you think you are, they just want to see that you are a person they could get along with on the road for extended periods of time and also trust to give the airplane keys to.

Last thing, anybody that doesn't completely understand how the season works, realize you are not going home for a while just a FYI. You get 2 weeks off during regular season to go home and that's about it unless work dies off which I doubt it will. I only mention this because apparently somebody didn't get that memo last hiring season so keep that in mind if you have other responsibilities you can't just up and go from.

Hah, said somebody had a lot of issues from the get go. They definitely don't hide the fact you're gone from home for 7 months AT ALL. Don't be a dingus, try to get along with everyone best you can, and try not to do anything stupid with the airplane and you'll be fine.

That's what I didn't get either lol apparently the person claims they had no idea the schedule was 7 months on and 2 weeks off somewhere in between if you even want them, I didn't know about that though with the issues lmao not everyone is cut out for it I guess and you are totally right because now that I think back to the phone interview they were pretty clear that you're not going home for a while

Phone interview complete. Have all your times current and totaled out. It starts with basic questions about your times and then works on
to details about the job. They did ask scenario base questions. If anyone needs more info feel free to pm me.
