Penair is coming to Portland

The brasilia bears the Saab in the beauty department...hands down.

It's the second prettiest airplane I've flown so far.

It does look good, but personally I prefer the 340 in our livery.

Yep. The 2000 is going to be used on the Alaska Airlines flights to Dutch Harbor.

Yummy. I'll try and do an XC up to CEC and shoot a Saab coming in over the beach. I'd love to get a shot of a Bro doing the same but I doubt I'll be able to get up there in time. Gorgeous airport, did a "just for kicks" non-rev run to CEC and back right before United added the segment fees, got some great shots.

It is official! Penair was awarded the EAS contract to serve Crescent City out of Portland. With this, it sounds like Alaska wants to start having us fly to some towns they dropped when Horizon got rid of the baby Qs. Rumor is Klamath Falls is next.
