Another AirlineApps.com thread....

The site was a nightmare for me too. My hours ended up being a couple hours off in a couple areas and I searched for a whole day to fix it. Could not figure it out. So I left it since 2 hours off in total time versus time in each aircraft did not make me freak out very much. I figured it still was a good representation of my hours and I know for a fact my actual logbook times are spot on since I back up my manual log to logbook pro as a check on my actual logbook totals. Now if I was 20 hours off, that would freak me out. Hope you get that one figured out. And hopefully someday the site becomes more user friendly since right now it is a user nightmare for most people.

I just finished my airlineapps flight time ordeal and my biggest mistake was in subtracting my total instructor time and total dual received time from my total PIC time. The mistake was found in the dual time received before I was certificated in that category and class of aircraft. This happened twice, once while training for my private in ASEL and again while doing the private AMEL. Once I figured that out it didn't take too long to make everything come out within an hour due to rounding off. I simply figured out the dual time spent not certificated and added it back to the PIC totals for each aircraft. By subtracting the dual total from the PIC total you remove time that was never entered as PIC. Again that time was the time as an uncertificated pilot.

This isn't advice, nor a solution to your problem, but an anecdote:
I interviewed at a well known 121 operator recently, and my total time was off by 10 or 20 hours, and my PIC was off by 10-20. I don't think they'll disqualify a reasonable candidate based on < .2% of total time logged. They didn't in my case.

Quick question for airlineapps and I don't know if this has been answered somewhere else. I'm currently working on my Masters and should be done summer 2016. In airlineapps education section it says "Highest Level of Education". Would it be wise to put Masters or Bachelors?

I found airlineapps to be way more user friendly than pilotcredentials. The flight time portion of pilotcredentials was basically impossible without an electronic logbook.

I hate them both...For what they charge they both could be more polished and work a lot better. Pilot Credential sucks...takes me 30 minutes to update three apps due to their stupid sync process..

Another thing that annoys me are the addendums and other questions being added. Seem like every time I login there is something they new they want. So my app goes from being complete to incomplete sometime when I update it and they make changes to every month.
