What would you tell your younger self before deciding to start a career in aviation?

I never fly unless weight and balance has been considered. Alcohol consumption can affect calculations and judgement.

Seems like the people who make alcoholic beverages and the people who make Synthetic Vision systems for pilots have an untapped market at their fingertips.

Oh, come on! You have an experience that many are envious of. Might not want make it a career, but flying them would be really cool!

I would have told myself I have two options: try to be an air traffic controller or get better grades in college and try to get into a good law school.

I got into law school with a 2.9 undergraduate GPA. If flying is terrible, there's still time.

I wouldn't recommend it, but a poor GPA with s decent lsat score goes a long way.

Go into something where you ALWAYS get your cut....FIRST.

Bankruptcy law, for instance.

Surely it's not all about what is ends up being the most financially profitable?

"Do something you love and never work a day in your life."

I'd still want to fight fires even if I couldn't get a pay check outta it... Challenge is what makes life exciting for me! :fury:
