Wow, sure this isn't a repost from a few years ago (circa 2012)? Guy had some fuel issues, ended up getting killed trying to land in a field in the same area, and I remember the pics looked pretty similar. That one, the guy was supposed to be red air for one of my friend's last FRS flights, they found out either on tac or after landing what had happened.

These two Hunter accidents, as well as the Kfir accident, there doesn't appear to have been ejection attempts. I assume the planes are so-equipped, just as their A-4 Skyhawks are?
 
Yes it happened today, in a very similar spot to the previous Hunter accident. I was driving by here about 20 minutes before hand, very sad news.
 
If I knew there was going to be a spelling test today I'd stayed home sick.

By the way La Jolla is my favorite. Not the spelling but the mispronunciation. Even the local NEWS stations screw it up. It's La HOY-a folks!
