I've always worked more than one job. Back when I was still in NM flight instructing and flying corporate, I held down a bar tending gig one night per week. Money is money.

Hell, the pizza delivery folks around where I live in Henderson (near Vegas) make an easy couple hundred a night on weekends. If I had the patience for drivers, traffic and adding miles on my car, Id do it for the extra spending cash and free food. All of the pizza chains allow the drivers to take home pizzas that get canceled at the end of their shift or let them make one to take home. I ordered Jimmy Johns delivery one night a few weeks ago and the girl said she has been bringing in $1000 on a weekend during football season.

Nothing wrong with a side hustle to stack some loot and it helps you appreciate it when you move up the food chain.

You don't know how many $300/hr guys that would bitch incessantly about how when they changed the ACARS screen, somewhat, how it was the end of the world because he couldn't handle change.

Delivery at night + CFI during daylight is a nice combo. Not many students flight at night. Delivery is my main job now since I don't have a flying gig. Pizza delivery averages 2-3 tip per delivery. It comes out to $12 an hour in a good area.
