Latest Eagle AIP rejected

The Eastern strike was a lot longer that that and I still check names against the scab list if a jumpseater looks to be the right age. Some things don't mellow with age or time.

Better than the guy who checked my name against a list once, long ago.

So in other words there was a great deal of animosity between Comair and Delta pilots.

And that animosity probably contributed to the Comairing of Comair?

In a general sense, sure. I offered all Comair pilots free entry into my career fair back in 2010 (and a crap-ton came), but occasionally, online, someone will allude to the idea that I, personally, sat back on my hands as the whole place burned down out of anger. Yeah, whatever.

I'm not sure if the company even hired any former CMR pilots after the strike, I may be wrong.

I had that happen to me once on a Kiwi flight. It was the FE who started asking me if I was involved in the strike. The CA and FO started busting his balls over that one! Turns out I knew one of his nephews.

Was kind of the same for me.....FE, but was a 4-striper who was at the FE seat until age 64. Even said he was looking for any Eastern boys. Funny thing is that I would've been in high school at the time.

My Captain was talking about a reduction bid just now that occurred in 1988 like it was yesterday.

I'm sorry, I didn't realize that two wrongs made a right in Seggyland.

It's not being wrong here, it's karma.

Quite frankly, I don't blame the Delta MEC for not helping out. They have the best interests of their members in mind and as those members were hurt by the Comair Pilot group, what do you think is going to happen?

That's ok. You're getting the union that you deserve.

I'm happy (for the most part) with my union.

You should tell him to get over it.

Karma is a superstition. But the superstition of karma only applies to your own actions, not to those of others. The Comair pilots overall did nothing wrong. Only a couple of them did.

Of course not. You've really embraced this whole "I've got mine, screw everyone else" mentality.

Good for you.

Shall we exhume the corpse and fight it all out again or do we figure out what can be done to mitigate damage to the profession in 2014 and beyond?

I could maybe assemble a handful of people that probably would be willing to 'fight it all out' for nostalgias sake, but at the end of the day, these tacos are delicious and Carson is coming on in five minutes.

He isn't the only one who I've heard talk about it that way.

Point is if you are screwed over by something or someone those wounds run deep.

Once again there was no massive outrage against the few who led them down the path of wrong decision making.

Oh please. This is almost as bad as those troll folks who think because one disagrees with another they are a troll.

Seggy, it's seems that you've forgotten what trade unionists are, so I figured I'd remind you. This is what they look like:

You can keep watching your videos, though, if you'd like to see self-serving politicians.

Sadly, I can only click "like" once!

They were actually lobbying to have me fired and got pretty close. And I still moved forward. Oh I'll talk about it, but it's not like I'm wearing that like an epaulet.

Care to explain what it is exactly yall are disagreeing about?

Good god, it's Walt Disney World around here, which is fine.

He's going to find himself out-numbered, out-yelled and largely un-heard with catlike quickness at his adoptive home.

Welcome to the Internet.

I wouldn't know. Never been on APC. But that's what was said.

Things have seemed a lot more aggressive lately. Maybe it's just me.
