Oh I know! I didn't bring my camera today because of weather and I was volunteering again, but it was a cool sight to see. Especially with how low the clouds were, it really stood out.

Good grief....never a dull moment flying for you is there? Where the heck is the location in pics 3,4,5? Pic 6 is just so beautiful! Really awesome. Where are you in the last pic? Great photo. And who is finger writing on your girl??? (#4) lol

There really has been no dull moment lately! Very busy. Pictures 3,4, and 5 are at old strip called bear creek. It is an abandoned strip. A lot of fun. The last picture is taken climbing out of Deadhorse heading for Fairbanks. Haha, our agents in the villages like to mark the side of the airplane. This is our route map from half my shift.

Bear Creek. You gotta love the names of towns, cities, villages and areas up there. Man that looks so remote. WTH am I saying? Dang near everything is remote up there. lol Thanks for the map too. Puts it all in perspective. You have been all over the place lately. Wow.

I am so happy for you. You really deserve this experience and you've worked so hard. I hope you are enjoying every second. And be careful/safe!!!! Otherwise I will have to come up there and who knows what ..... play grandpa or something....finger wagging.....!!!

How many legs are you doing in one shift?

That is some incredible view leaving Deadhorse. man, breathtaking.

This place is an abandoned camp. Pretty cool. It is going to be a base camp for a company putting up towers of some sort. Thank you very much. I am very thankful for this experience. Learning a lot about flying, weather, and decision making. I will be careful! I want to enjoy my one week off per month. :)

I am telling you, this experience is just the best training you can get. You will be honing your skills and learning so much, it's just wonderful. You will be miles ahead of so many at your age and hours. These are skills you will never forget and will use the rest of your career. I really enjoy the photos and keeping up on how you are doing and how far you have progressed already. Pretty neat journey.

Phew!!!! Only one week off a month/ good thing you are young! Man that is a lot of flying and especially in the conditions and terrain that you are doing it in.

Are you getting enough rest/sleep and eating well?? (see...... the lectures already are beginning. lol )

Thank you! I am loving this experience. My captains are great about letting me make decisions and learn from them. I got a good lesson in winds and turbulence the other day. I will be sure to post more pictures.

By next summer I will move into the 207 and get a two weeks two weeks off schedule.

Yeah, I am certainly well rested. We get an easy 10 to 12 hours of rest each night. And pretty good sleep too. But still by the end of three weeks I am a little tired. Luckily we get Sunday off each week.
