Passed my MEI today. I don't have any more check rides until my ATP to study for... What now?

I've been in this study mode for so long that I don't know what to do with myself now. Oh dear.
 
I've already got a Multi-Private student lined up to add to the list of my other 10 private students. I haven't been able to use my II yet though. Not even an IPC. One of these days.
 
Chillz is what I'd do.

Don't ever have to stop studying even though you have no checkrides :D

1. Relax and have a beer. You got your MEI on St. Patti's day and you haven't done a post check ride procedure why? ;)

2. On a serious note. I once heard that a pilot is like a doctor in a way. You are always reading and brushing up on certain things. After you celebrate (which you need to do BTW) why not read up on the things your soft on?

I have my ATP ride tomorrow and other than staying on top of the info for future interviews (yeah right...) I am looking forward to having nothing hanging over my head.

A little late, but my new years resolution for last year was to finally graduate college (check), get back into the books so that on the odd chance an interview came out of nowhere I would be ready (check), and get my ATP (hopefully tomorrow).

I'm thinking of adding a commercial glider (maybe even CFI glider) to my certificate... Maybe single-engine sea once I have some money saved up. I can't relax, it's not in my nature haha. I need to finish my bachelors as well. Maybe I'll devote this energy towards that.
 
I like the glider/seaplane idea. It's something cool that would help your resume stand apart from the rest. That bachelors degree is going to help you down the road too, so I'd get that knocked out ASAP.
 
Sign up for a chamber ride or survival training. I just completed upset recovery training. Lots of fun! I recommend some aerobatics. Upset recovery training is just starting to go mainstream in the corporate/airline world. I think this will eventually lead to some primary aerobatics being taught much earlier on.

it never ends...but you get to have a respite once in a while...enjoy yours before the next fire hose!
 
Congrats!! I'm looking forward to getting my ATP written done and then nothing to prepare for except interviews!
