That's not me (right paint, wrong identifier at the end of the N number) but I ate two birds coming into DCA right there about a week ago.

I was in a Seminole at 11k for over an hour at night with no heat. That was a little chilly. Now I know what the overtemp light looks like.
 
Well technically that's good because you lose heat first through the feet and ears, did you have ear muffs?

I was flying from Redding (KRDD) to Gillespie (KSEE) with a fuel stop at KBFL. The Bose clamped to my head for the past 5 hours certainly kept my ears warm. The problem was that this was summer, and it was hot at redding when I left. So shorts and a tshirt it was. So I had hot feet and hot ears, with a frozen middle.
