How much money do you think a GV instructor pilot makes?

Well the instructors we are talking about have the ability to do both, they operate the sim and do ground instruction.

I would guess 16.50hr., or as cheap as you can get one! I want to know why every check has 95hrs of straight and 10 of OT? Riddle me that batman.

One meeeelion dollars!

Very likely $100K+ if full time. I have a friend who instructs for FSI, and they are well paid there. As he said, "this isn't the airlines here".

Well I'm cheating since I worked for FSA and know people doing this but .... Its not as much as you guys would think someone with those quals would make.

This. I saw someone say $50k a year. That'd be nice, but far from the truth. You could make some contacts there though, and possibly get a type out of it.

POSSIBILITY of a type?

I would hope that you'd have a type in ANY aircraft you're teaching in.

I dunno... we've got new hires with 250 hours and zero time in a JETTT!!!!!1111!! teaching groundschool because they aren't cool enough to fly the line yet.

Got to run before you walk, right?

Teaching ground, sure sure, but doing full motion sim instruction? Heck we even have our ground instructors do FTD's, which seems to work out fine, but I think the junior flight instructor here has 15 years seniority?
