Late but still good news. (Hired)

A little over a week ago I was hired at AmFlight. Going to be some challenging and fun flying!

It will be good to get my hands on the controls of an aircraft again!

For those that wonder.

125 Instrument (72 actual)

Starting in a PA-31 unless by some sort of miracle I can grab a turbine.

Congratz. And with all due respect, you're better off in the PA31 with those times rather than trying go straight to a turbine PIC. Left seat in a metro would eat you up. Going to a new company and straight to PIC in a turbine is a tall order. Do six months in the Cheiftan and the world is yours. Good luck.

Don't know where my base will be yet. The standard two are PDX and OAK with OAK typically needing more pilots.

Chieftains suck. Did you know the engines quit when you run out of gas in one tank and don't switch tanks? It's true! You can look at that fuel selector all day long and it won't switch itself.

Ask me about the fuel selectors in that thing next time you see me, they might be my least favorite part of that aircraft.
