King Air Chaise Lounge (Couch)

Anyone flying a King Air with a couch? In the AFM there are a couple placards that say the couch is to not be occupied during take off or landing, however I looked in three King Air's today with couches, and none of them have the placards.

I'm told if the aircraft is N registered, and his seatbelts then the limitation is lifted. Can anyone confirm this?

Thx

Got a couch with seatbelts and we use it all the time for takeoff.

I never heard of any restrictions.
Ditto. I actually have extra seats and a couch and one ottoman (additional rails in the floor plus cross rails to turn the seats so they can face forward/ backwards or sideways with lock downs for them and the ottoman is not for sitting, just for putting your feet up) and I configure the seating to suit how many pax and/or their needs. The bench seat (couch) has two seat belts as well and I have had clients in there many times for takeoffs and landings. I guess I can add furniture mover to my resume now. lol

Confirmed that the couch can legally be occupied with seatbelts with Tom Clements. Anyone flying a King Air should definitely look into his book, it's good stuff.

I looked his book up on line. Thanks for the info. I am going to send for it this weekend.
