ATP PHX...good places to study

So far came across a Dunkin Donuts....staff are really nice and there is hardly anyone here. It is a Sunday on Labor Day weekend so that could be why im the only one here.
 
There is a Barnes and Nobles at the Superstition Springs Mall on Power Rd. just north of Hwy. 60. They have a pseudo-Starbucks in there that I know a lot of people hung out at while studying.

The pool at the apparments. Did lots of studying there. When it get's too hot, take a dip. Or, study in groups with other's. Did lots of that as well.
 
Thanks guys. It appears that the 4 guys staying in the housing (myself included) are at different phases of training. I am just beginning my 90 day, one room mate is just finishing. One guy is just starting fresh from 0 hours while another guy...havn't met him yet...not sure what he is doing. I'll check out that Starbucks over at superstition mall. Tommrow is first day...excited and somewhat cautious about what is to come.
 
I used to send students over to the ASU cafeteria across the street. There was a fair amount of eye candy that could be distracting, but at least there wasn't airplane stuff all over the place.

I seem to remember the Mall on the other side of 60 had a nice food court that was quiet a lot of the time.
 
Mike, I think he meant study flying stuff... not the female anatomy.

Besides, you'd probably have to dodge bullets just to get in the door.
 
When I was at Mesa ground school we used the ASU student union / cafeteria. They make some fine sandwiches. You'd see us peddling down the street on the Mesa tricycles. They've since retired those, I think.
 
village inn by chick fil a. i was the only one over there most the time. and the servers were more than happy to see somone under the age of 75. but you do at least need to buy a cup of coffee or something.

I did almost all of my studying poolside at the apartments. Lots of good times in that pool...

I work in the Student Union at ASU and I would have to agree with the eye candy part and it seems this year there a more to look at than before.
