Welcome! A word of advice about standardization. I know many of you have learned to fly different ways. FSA wants you to teach their method. We produce all training manuals you will need for the airplane you will fly. You will learn the methods in standardization. To get through stands you will need to study the cadet training manual and memorize the checklists. Do this as early as possible. Don't wait until the night before your first stands flight to study. FSA standardization is not meant to get you to PTS standards. You should already be there. We teach you to fly/teach the FSA way. You can set up a "hours build" course with administration if you want to rent the plane to practice. I recommend that you do this in pairs and split the time, especially if you have never flown a piper. If you have any other questions feel free to PM. I usually log on to this site two or three times a week. I will try to get back asap.
