KA'PLAH BITCHES!
I know it's just a C-17 with turboprops, but as far as the cockpit goes..the A400M makes the C-17 look rather..well....lame. Is this wrong of me? Am I going to hell for giving Airbus props for something?
I'm so attracted to you right now...
But it's in the right place.
But it's in the right place.
Between your legs?
That looks like way too much stuff to know for an oral. Same reason I am fear my transition from the 767 to the MD-88. The Maddog's overhead panel looks to have been designed on a dare.
Still has a panzy stick.
Personally, I'll probably lose few cool points for this, but the big-assed yoke is antiquated.
Phase out big-assed yokes and I'll move to Russia. They know what's up
You're looking at this all wrong. The stick is appropriate for pantywaist airplanes where you're just giving suggestions to the computers. Yokes are appropriate for aircraft with cables and aerodynamically balanced control surfaces that will kill you if you paint em wrong. I think it was the HS748 that had such insane aileron hinge tolerances that some goober with a paint brush and ambition brought one down due to reversal. Now that airplane is all that is Man.

Congrats to them, they dressed up a cockpit like a christmas tree. Notice the nice red knobs on the ceiling panel atop all the wonderful green displays...
I wonder how practical the set up is though? I have no experience in the big birds to know if this would be easier to fly or just make a person think they were in a ninja turtle airplane.
And I'm pretty sure the green displays are NVG compatible.Congrats to them, they dressed up a cockpit like a christmas tree. Notice the nice red knobs on the ceiling panel atop all the wonderful green displays...
