TLC Special "Brace for Impact"

I'll watch it.

This has got to be the first GOOD thing on TLC in a VERY long time. Since Junkyard Wars era, at least.

It's always "Say Yes to the Dress", "18 Kids and Counting" and (until recently) "Jon and Kate Plus 8".

What exactly do I learn from watching these shows on The Learning Channel?

Don't forget "Little Chocolatiers." :bandit:

Yes!!! I don't mean to be a jerk, but didn't the guy just do his job? Plus his life was in danger too so it wasn't a selfless act. Not saying he's not a cool guy but I need a Sully break.

This country has a thing for putting "heros" in the spotlight. Deal...no one says you have to watch the program...

No this country has a thing for putting what sells in the spotlight. I didn't say the guy wasn't really good at his job and that he didn't seem like a nice guy, but how many people have died in Iraq and got a book deal and a 1yr anniversary show on TLC? I mean, I don't dislike the guy. I think he deserves to be honored but the question was is anyone sullied out and that was my answer.

Jerk.....

:D

Is this one of those times that ass is allowed or no? :p

It is the freakshow channel now. All I ever see are "Tree Man", "Little People", "Toddlers in Tiaras", "The 600 lb virgin", etc.

I was one of the haters in the beginning but after reading his book and just listening to him speak a little I'm throughly impressed. He seems like a standup kinda guy. It's nice to see credit given when deserved.
