I feel ya. Going to be in a hotel in Farmingdale,NY for Christmas and on call but with the freezing rain forcasted, we probably won't be going anywhere since were not certified for ground icing operations. First Christmas flying 135 Charter. Hopefully in 2 years I'll have enough seniority to request holidays off.

Haven't worked Christmas or Thanksgiving yet at the airlines.

Had the 23rd off originally all by its onesy. Was able to pick up flying and roll that to Christmas.

If you can't get it off, beat the system!

Working day shift in ops on xmas day...still haven't found an instructing job(looking for 7 months)

Not flying obviously in any of the poll options, but I'll be working on Christmas

1100-1930 Xmas Eve
0630-1500 Christmas Day
0100-0730 Boxing Day

Then off for 4 days... someones gotta work right?
 
Tonight, Christmas eve, I do a standup. (Or high speed or whatever your airline calls it.) I do the last flight into a city and then the first flight out. Should be home by 8:30 AM. I have the rest of the year off. (I took a little vacation. I couldn't get Christmas, but I could get the following week.)

had to laugh when i saw this thread......had the cold ones lined up in the fridge aka the inlaws garage (kinda cold here right now lol) when would you guess the phone rings 45 Minutes before release!!!!!:dunno: for a 9pm show:mad: ohhhh the temptation not to answer lol:rolleyes: oh well!!!!!!!!!
