Cheapest place for a 1900D type?

Well my company has decided to put me in the 1900D and asked me to find a place to go. Any suggestions? I'd be up for a company that operates them doing the training too. Need an estimate on the price too so I can let them know. Thanks

The cheapest way to do it would most likely be in your own plane so long as you have an instructor qualified pilot already in it, it is an easy type ride. Flight safety lga has a good program, but that sim is often booked

I tried FS LGA and they said 121 only. I would try Aero Service, Higher Power or even Pan Am. If they don't have beech 19's then they at least know good people who do

I know the FSI in TOL doesn't have a 1900D, so yeah the one in Orlando might be your best bet....it won't be cheap.

Pretty sure FSI in toledo does have the 1900D since my company sends their Indian pilots there for training due to DGCA rules. I'm looking for something a little bit cheaper than FSI if possible.

Another question, does the 1900 type cover all models like the C and D or are they specific? Thanks

I got mine free at AMF wanna buy it?

The type covers all 1900 models UB & UC and the D. You just need diffrence training for each one.

Not buying my type just for the record even though I'm not against it. Really people pay for their type one way or another if you really think about it. Plus this upgrade includes a 12k salary raise.

Does AMF do their types in house?

Look again at Flight Safety in LGA. My company, 135 on demand, does all of their 1900D training there. I believe they did our type ratings.

They are a citation only facility at TOL. Although they do have a Hawker 400XP that is brand new.

Cheapest? Hired as a street captain at Great Lakes, quit!

Corporate Air used LGA Flight safety for their BE1900 and EMB-120 training while I was there. They always operated part 135 but they might not be willing to let just anyone off the street come into the program. Can you plead your case with the brass at your company to pull some strings to get you in?
